Miss P is now 12 days old...yet still in the NICU. She was doing well with everything including feedings but her jaundice is back which is causing her to be tired and not wanting to wake up and eat (she was eating less then 17 ml. of her 49 ml.). Pumping is going well...just taking a break from nursing to allow Paisley time to rest. Today she had a better day and has taken a few bottles at which were 32 ml. of her 49 ml. She has to take 37 ml. which is 75% for 48 hours for her to go to the next step. So at least she is taking a bottle and trying to eat a little more. Paisley's jaundice level went down from 12.9 to 11.3 so they took her off the lights and she is pooping it out like crazy which is hopefully helping! We love this little girl more and more every day and can't wait until she is ours and in our home and we can love on her whenever we want with out nurses around. one day....one day....but for now...look at the precious little babe:
