Adey's first real cold...sad day
its not fun at all...adey just has a cold but it has been awful! we haven't slept much in the past 4 days at night and i had to call into work yesterday and today. she is getting better so i will work tomorrow and then we have a 4 day paid weekend. i am excited. she was running a low grade and stuffy and sneezy and coughing. i had to use vicks rub and tylenol and suction her nose and throat and run hot water and create a steam for her and the only way she would try to sleep for a few minutes at night before waking from coughing is with me or in her swing. it was not fun and i felt so bad. from the last day of coughing i could tell in her throat that is was sore. she was in pain and there wasn't a whole lot i could do for her! it made me sad...

Keep up the nasal suction! That's the best relief we've found for our kids...natural and it works. They hate it...but it works. I hope she gets better. It's no fun to watch your child go through a sickness.
