Christmas Eve

I know these are all late...but due to a recent learning that we will be extending our family by one in august i have been a little pre-occupied...but doing better and going to try to catch up!

In preparation for Christmas....a few days before Christmas eve, Adey and I tackled some cookie dough making which was quite fun and then on Christmas eve we made the cookies and let them cool while Josh was at work so they would be ready to ice that night for SANTA to eat with his glass of lactose free milk (we left carrots for his reindeers) ...she is such a little chef and we love it about her and how she always wants to help!

We went and picked up Josh/daddy from work and when we got home we had snack type foods for dinner and then ICED our cookies which was quite adventurous....

this girl means business

2 from each of us for Santa....hope he likes them

Then we opened our Christmas Eve presents which is always fun...we have a tradition to always do new pajama's...plus a small something extra this year!

a new Christmas book

Doggy PJ's that say "doggy eyes work every time"

Then we sat together as a family while Josh read us the book and then we brushed our teeth, washed our face and hands, and snuggled in bed waiting for Santa to come!

cute book...Josh read these books as a kid and wanted to continue the tradition with our little family

sporting her PJ's....she is so adorable!

One of the best parts of all......santa came and spoiled us this year....

our stockings filled with goodies...guess we were good this year!

and he left Adey a dollhouse and a bag full of presents...she was really good in his eyes! (just kidding)

Fullmer family kids party

On Saturday December 17, we had the kids Christmas party on Josh's family side.  It was a lot of fun.  We had yummy snacks (of which i really liked the sausage, cream cheese, crescent rolls i made).  We watched some of polar express and opened presents and made ginger bread house.  it was a nice get together!

Adey loved this snowman because it sang frosty which she now loves thanks to Nonni

Nonni's visit

My mom came to stay with us for 2 weeks btwn. Thanksgiving and Christmas.  We had a wonderful time with her and are grateful for her visit.  We celebrated St. Nicholas Day, went to a ballet, celebrated mom's birthday, had a magill family christmas, talked to grampy, shopped, josh and i went on a date, saw the lights on Temple square, made graham cracker houses, and made a purple waldwrof cake.  Here are a few pics from Nonni's vacation:

So...

we went to the zoo and i dropped my camera and it is busted....hope i am getting a new one for christmas.  we shall see.  But anyway let me at least catch up since Halloween...Adey had a great time trick or treating for Halloween and still never wore her Jesse costume but talks about it all the time and how Jesse is a girl.  At least she has it for dress up.  She continues to amaze us each day and is now learning the letters of the alphabet.  She loves to paint and do art projects any time we let her.  Her speech is getting so good and most people can understand her now.  She knows so many animals and likes to "read" the 4 brown bear book series and the baby david book series.  She loves LOVES to read books...i have to remember to continue to read books with her every night so she will continue this love!  We had snow a few days ago and we played in it as a family and it was so hard to get Adey to come back in side but oskar had no problem until josh dipped him in warm water to get the snow balls out of his fur.  Josh has an interview tomorrow and we may soon be a 2 income family again and are super excited about that and Josh is looking forward to working with a friend...they pay is good, hours are so so...but we are buying a 2nd car just before he starts...we have it narrowed down to 3 as of right now...honda CRV, nissian rogue, and mitsubishi outlander...all in our price and drove them and all 3 have pros and cons...so we shall see.  I am selling my bows again and trying to get Body by Vi 90 day challenge to take off in Utah.  It is a wonderful product and super healthy and numerous shake options...some days i don't do as well but i am trying.  I haven't really signed anyone up but i know it takes time!  Hm...i guess for now this is the update and will hopefully get a new camera soon so i can post some pics of my beautiful fam!  i love them and treasure all the memories we have as we grown and learn TOGETHER!

Boo @ the zoo

I have always wanted to go to Boo at the zoo for a long time and that it would be this super cool event...well we finally got to go yesterday and it was just alright.  If i didn't have a zoo pass and got in for free we probably would not have paid to go...it was super busy which was expected but they passed out candy every where which was cool but that is all it really was.  Once again though Adey did not want to wear her Jesse costume...she wanted to be Ute cheerleader which was fine because there was a game last night that we were supposed to go to but when Josh went to get tickets the machine was not working and he forgot to go back and pick up his tickets...oh well.  But the Utes did win which is always good news!  Here are a few pics of our adventure before i dropped the camera and it stopped working (yes you read that right...hint hint parents a great christmas present idea ya know so i can still capture all the wonderful pics of Adey and keep blogging but i do intend to replace my little camera way before Christmas)

waiting in line for Candy

I thought these turkeys looked cool

yummy hamburger

working on smiling for the camera...she is getting better

Daddy rescuing us with hot chocolate...it was cold

this guy was cool and we loved how long his tail was

josh loved this guy and he was a ute fan too if you notice the sticker

adey is a juvenile...and then the camera broke...very sour subject!

Trunk or Treat

On Friday we had trunk or treat at our church and soup to follow with a few carnival games (Adey didn't care much for the games or being there too long because the masks scared her)....here are a few pics i got of the night.  Oh ya when i went to Adey's homemade Jesse (from toy story) costume on....she would not wear it and wanted to be a fairy so we went and got her dress up clothes from her room and that is what she was for trunk or treat!

passing out candy...sorry it is dark

josh fixing the trunk...he was very proud of his dry ice effect which did look pretty cool

playing with the balloon while eating her pumpkin looking bread bowl...they were super cute!
