trying to do a photoshoot

so Paisley is now 4 months old and I was trying to come up with ideas for a photo shoot of her...this is one set of photos (unedited because I think they are just cute...even though she is crying...)

on a side note...this is Miss P at 4 months:

weight: 14.7 lbs (50%)
length: 23.5 inches (25%)
Head: (95%)
BMI: 85%...not a small girl

lol...one thing her doc told me was besides that for the most part she is developing with her 4 month age and not her gestational age which is 2 months 3 weeks...is that we don't need to start her on solids until she is about 6 months old and when we do we need to focus on veggies and not fruits/cereals because she is growing outwards and not upwards (this made me smile...).  We do have some special exercises to do with her neck because she almost always tilts it to the right.  It is almost like she has either a tight muscle or a weak muscle.  In a few weeks if it is not corrected we have to take her to see a physical therapist so we shall see.  She doesn't qualify for the RSV shots which in a way is nice but I really hope she doesn't get the virus and end up in the hospital because that would not be fun nor do I want to see this lil girl all hooked up again!

most of the time she is a smiley girl.  She loves to get into this cooing sessions which always bring a smile to my face (its as if she is trying to communicate).  She loves to shove her fingers in her mouth and grab a hold of my hair.  Still not a big fan of belly time but will do it but gets frustrated because she can't really lift her head up off the ground unless it is to move it from side to side (which would explain the neck muscle we are working with and the doc said she is just lazy and then laughed at Paisley).  she is wearing size 2 diapers and 0 to 6 month clothes...it just all depends.  she is still short but plumping out so dressing her is quite an ordeal because sometimes we have to go through many outfits to find one that fits in all ways.  she grabs at toys and loves her play mat.  we are working on getting her to spend time in her jumperoo that Adey got from Santa.  she is still such a good nurser.  she doesn't sleep through the night but does wake up 2 to 3 times which is ruff some nights but then again i love my special time with her just me and her.  she is a good snuggler after eating...but hates being wet so sometimes these don't last very long.

i love all the changes of things btwn the two girls...like adey's baby book is way more detailed and i took pics almost every day of adey.  but with my new camera i do more professional pics of paisley and i have more videos of paisley.  each girl is equal but different ideas and technology already shows the difference btwn the two and they aren't even 3 years apart.  crazy huh?!

Dr. Adey...

I wish I would have taken a picture of Dr. Adey but at least I got a picture of this...

these were all of our patients...I was her nurse...do you spot a little Paisley in there?!

I love making memories with my girls

Rudolph

I got this onsie for Paisley before I knew we were having another little girl but I at least new we were having another baby and got the right size for the holiday it was meant to be worn around before I bought it.  I am so glad Paisley turned out a girl just in case we really are done having children which I am pretty sure we are...but ya never know.  Anyway...look how cute she looks in this:

such squeezeable, fluffy cheeks...love this lil/big girl!

Whats new with Paisley Poo...

From grabbing toys to babbling away this lil princess just keeps gettin bigger and bigger.  When others meet her for the first time they are so surprised that she was almost 7 weeks early.  When I too look at her I actually think the very same thing.  What has happened to my teenie tiny baby girl that started her first breaths with tubes and cords to this...?!

This was taken almost 2 weeks ago (10/28/2012)

Halloween part 2 and 3

so i mentioned Adey and I made a chain ( http://fullmerfam06.blogspot.com/2012/10/halloween.html ). Well our project on Monday night was to paint a pumpkin and we even had a pumpkin for Paisley to paint (they are the ones we got from wheeler farms).

adey even painted Paisley foot so we could print her foot print on the project

Today (Tuesday) was to make a spider...we traced her hands and then glued them together overlapping the thumbs.  then she put sticker google eyes on it and wanted to paint it with glitter..turned out quite cute and she had a great time!

trying to roll over

on Monday night this is Ms P's progress of trying to roll over...she is close but not quite there...give it a few more weeks but we admire her progress for being almost 7 weeks early!  way to go baby girl!

tummy time

we are slowly getting stronger but she is such a fighter as we all know (from being in the womb to now...this lil girl is all about her time and not giving up...i love that about you Paisley Makae)

could it be?!

so yesterday we let Paisley try some baby pears...it was like maybe a TBSP...i can't believe how fast time is flying but gosh she is getting so big.  She will be 4 months old next week according to her birthday but 2 months and 2 1/2 weeks according to her due date and what doctors go by.  Anyway...with Adey I didn't want her to grow up too fast but with Paisley since we know what to expect for some reason I am not as sad but more excited to watch her grow.  She loved the pears yet they made her a little too gassy so we are going to hold off another month at least before we try again. but for our record this was her reaction (minus the gas)

ps...i am so excited to see what kinds of varieties we come up with.  We are making all her food just like we did with Adey.  it really helped with the transition to real food and we think it helped Adey become the great eater she is today!

our tiny princess?!

I still can't believe our little Paisley was a preemie.  She is now 3 1/2 months old and when I took her to the doctor yesterday for her cold she was coming in at 12 lbs. 15 ounces....WOW...she is still in the lower percents on the chart except her head which is massive but SO FREAKIN' CUTE!  and so today I decided to do a photo shoot of the many happy faces of Paisley:

As of today our baby is in size 2 diapers and wearing mostly 3-6 month clothes but still size 0 or 1 shoes (she has small feet like her mama), still has blue eyes and pretty blonde hair, she is happy most of the time (mainly gas still bothers her), she HATES (understatement..) being in a wet diaper, she is a good nurser and only takes about 1 maybe 2 pumped bottles a day (i can't believe the time for her to start real food is already approaching which we plan to make for her just like we did for Adey), still spits up quite a bit, gaining about 2 pounds a month, learning to grab toys, is just like Adey and doesn't like tummy time, absolutely LOVES bath time, prefers to be snuggled by mommy, when being held has to face outwards, sleeps propped up (usually in her bouncer), quite content playing on her play mat on her back, looks at the TV every time when Adey watches YoGabba Gabba, already loves Oskar (our puppy), and likes to look at books.  We love this little girl and love having her complete our family!  We are so blessed to spend everyday with her....such a blessing!

We love you our little preemie Paisley Makae Fullmer!

holding toys

Last night after Adey went to bed Paisley finally woke up from like a 5 hour nap (of which she only woke up to eat and then back to sleep).  so she was ready to play this time and Josh and I had a good time listening to her and playing with her and watching her smiles....she is so PERFECT

here she is holding a toy for the very first time!

she loved that barking vibrating dog in the corner...it had just gone off so she is smiling for ya and mind you still holding that toy...way to go Miss P

2 months and growing...

on Paisley's one month she was getting of of the NBICU and was still like a preemie/newborn so I had nothing to really report...but on August 29 our little girl turned 2 months but these were taken like 2 weeks after the fact...but here is where she is at:

*does not look like a "little" baby anymore even though every where we go when they find out how old she is they are like wow she is so small...but not to me
*she is starting to make faces and even smile and coo and a few small giggles
*Paisley loves to grab at hair while she is nursing
*she takes about 3 to 4 pumped bottles of about 2 to 2.5 ounces and nurses about 4 to 6 times a day...can't ya tell by her face that she is a good eater!
*she got 3 pokes and 1 oral shot at her last check up
*she weighed 10 lbs 10 ounces (10 %) and was 21 inches long (0%) and her head was in the 23% but i can't remember how big but i have noticed my girls have big heads...
*the doc did say she is behind a little but it is expected until she is about 2...so she has plenty of time to catch up and if she doesn't then that just means more one on one work with her
*she loves to be danced with and read too
*she sleeps in her bouncy seat because she always spits up and so this is the most comfortable for her
*she did get thrush but is slowly getting over it...fun times
*she takes a multi vitamin daily if i remember to give it to her
*she only wakes up at night to eat and then goes right back to bed (she normally falls asleep for bedtime around 7 pm and wakes up around 730 am)...but she does take many naps during the day.  she is awake for about 4 hours a day total...
*tummy time isn't her favorite but she does go longer then Adey did...her doc said though we have to do it everyday because her neck muscles aren't strong enough for her age
*for the most part we have her cry cues down
*she is a gassy baby as she is premature and still working things out (gripe water is our BF...for Adey it was just gas drops)
*she is a GREAT baby and a GREAT final addition to our perfect little family!
