Kinnect dance

we got a Kinnect dance game and Adey just loves it...but check out her outfit! sorry i couldn't figure out how to turn it

Snow...could it be?!

A few weeks ago (after Christmas) we finally woke up to a little bit of snow.  It was on a Saturday and we of course took advantage of it.  We went sledding on the hill by our house and built a snowman and Adey ate some snow and Oskar wondered around.  It was a nice little outing for our family and since Utah has been lacking the snowing this year we were glad to have fun even if it was only for a little while before it started melting.

Adey is gathering the snow

Marcus's birthday/baptism

Adey and I are grateful that Josh's mom was able to come get us to spend this special day with Marcus (Adey's cousin) since Josh had to work and had the car....I only got pics of the babes eating their pop sicles...

she sure loved these....and her little goody bag from the party

Aunt Julia, Ella, and Wesley

helping Daddy cook...

Adelynn has become quite the daddy's girl lately and every single time he is in the kitchen cooking...so is she and they HAVE to wear their aprons!

or each other's aprons.....

the big day....CHRISTMAS

We woke up to our surprise...no snow in Utah....and just for the record we still have had very little snow and warmer weather which could be frightening for this state next year water supply wise but depending on Josh's career...we have no idea where we will be so this may affect us and its scary....but on a happier note we had a great Christmas together as a family at our quiet little home....later that day we drove down to Josh's families house in Mapleton and enjoyed a quiet evening and yummy dinner.

look what santa brought me mommy....with a big grin on her face

ABC game, littlest pets shops...he sure knows her

baby doll clothes...she went and got her babies to change them!

Oskar got a raw hide and is in LOVE.....

the loot from Santa....

After the Santa gifts then we let Adey pass out the gifts under the tree...each person had a special wrapping paper so it was easier to sort the gifts out.  she had fun with this....

passing out presents...big helper!

barbies....

more barbies....

movies, tv shows, socks, kitchen gadgets....

socks, slippers, foot massager, ipod touch....

Christmas Eve

I know these are all late...but due to a recent learning that we will be extending our family by one in august i have been a little pre-occupied...but doing better and going to try to catch up!

In preparation for Christmas....a few days before Christmas eve, Adey and I tackled some cookie dough making which was quite fun and then on Christmas eve we made the cookies and let them cool while Josh was at work so they would be ready to ice that night for SANTA to eat with his glass of lactose free milk (we left carrots for his reindeers) ...she is such a little chef and we love it about her and how she always wants to help!

rolling out the dough

smashing the cookie cutters into the dough

We went and picked up Josh/daddy from work and when we got home we had snack type foods for dinner and then ICED our cookies which was quite adventurous....

this girl means business

2 from each of us for Santa....hope he likes them

Then we opened our Christmas Eve presents which is always fun...we have a tradition to always do new pajama's...plus a small something extra this year!

a new Christmas book

Doggy PJ's that say "doggy eyes work every time"

Then we sat together as a family while Josh read us the book and then we brushed our teeth, washed our face and hands, and snuggled in bed waiting for Santa to come!

cute book...Josh read these books as a kid and wanted to continue the tradition with our little family

sporting her PJ's....she is so adorable!

One of the best parts of all......santa came and spoiled us this year....

our stockings filled with goodies...guess we were good this year!

and he left Adey a dollhouse and a bag full of presents...she was really good in his eyes! (just kidding)
