trying to do a photoshoot

so Paisley is now 4 months old and I was trying to come up with ideas for a photo shoot of her...this is one set of photos (unedited because I think they are just cute...even though she is crying...)

on a side note...this is Miss P at 4 months:

weight: 14.7 lbs (50%)
length: 23.5 inches (25%)
Head: (95%)
BMI: 85%...not a small girl

lol...one thing her doc told me was besides that for the most part she is developing with her 4 month age and not her gestational age which is 2 months 3 weeks...is that we don't need to start her on solids until she is about 6 months old and when we do we need to focus on veggies and not fruits/cereals because she is growing outwards and not upwards (this made me smile...).  We do have some special exercises to do with her neck because she almost always tilts it to the right.  It is almost like she has either a tight muscle or a weak muscle.  In a few weeks if it is not corrected we have to take her to see a physical therapist so we shall see.  She doesn't qualify for the RSV shots which in a way is nice but I really hope she doesn't get the virus and end up in the hospital because that would not be fun nor do I want to see this lil girl all hooked up again!

most of the time she is a smiley girl.  She loves to get into this cooing sessions which always bring a smile to my face (its as if she is trying to communicate).  She loves to shove her fingers in her mouth and grab a hold of my hair.  Still not a big fan of belly time but will do it but gets frustrated because she can't really lift her head up off the ground unless it is to move it from side to side (which would explain the neck muscle we are working with and the doc said she is just lazy and then laughed at Paisley).  she is wearing size 2 diapers and 0 to 6 month clothes...it just all depends.  she is still short but plumping out so dressing her is quite an ordeal because sometimes we have to go through many outfits to find one that fits in all ways.  she grabs at toys and loves her play mat.  we are working on getting her to spend time in her jumperoo that Adey got from Santa.  she is still such a good nurser.  she doesn't sleep through the night but does wake up 2 to 3 times which is ruff some nights but then again i love my special time with her just me and her.  she is a good snuggler after eating...but hates being wet so sometimes these don't last very long.

i love all the changes of things btwn the two girls...like adey's baby book is way more detailed and i took pics almost every day of adey.  but with my new camera i do more professional pics of paisley and i have more videos of paisley.  each girl is equal but different ideas and technology already shows the difference btwn the two and they aren't even 3 years apart.  crazy huh?!

Dr. Adey...

I wish I would have taken a picture of Dr. Adey but at least I got a picture of this...

these were all of our patients...I was her nurse...do you spot a little Paisley in there?!

I love making memories with my girls

T is for turkey...

look at this fun project Adey and I made in honor of turkey day coming up very soon:

materials: paper colors of white/yellow/orange/red, two google eyes, brown crayon, marker or pen, scissors, and glue

folded paper in half and made a T and let Adey use her cutting skills to cut it out

tada...not bad at all! next I let her color it brown since we don't have brown construction paper

I traced the leaves on red/orange/yellow and I cut them out while she colored her turkey (I also made the feet and the nose both on orange paper).  Then we glued on the feathers, then the eyes, then the feet, then the nose, and I made the mouth...and when we were all done we done made our selves a.....

turkey...how cute?!

Rudolph

I got this onsie for Paisley before I knew we were having another little girl but I at least new we were having another baby and got the right size for the holiday it was meant to be worn around before I bought it.  I am so glad Paisley turned out a girl just in case we really are done having children which I am pretty sure we are...but ya never know.  Anyway...look how cute she looks in this:

such squeezeable, fluffy cheeks...love this lil/big girl!

Adey's thankful tree

With Thanksgiving around the corner I wanted to teach Adey what the holiday is meant to be besides eating lots of food and schools being closed and the black Friday shopping (which I look forward to doing with her when she is older just like me and my mommy did...aw such memories).

So we took white paper (can be done on brown but we didn't have any) and brown colored pencils and we each colored the whole paper.  Then we cut out our "tree trunk and taped them together.  Then we traced Adey's hand and cut them out on green, yellow, red, and orange paper.  We then taped everything to our front door (so she can be reminded every day of all the blessings in her life and so that we can actually do it every day).  I let her pick which leaf she wants for that day and we date it and we write Adey is thankful for...

so far we have barbies, mommy, daddy, Paisley, Oskar, ice cream

these are of Adey coloring...she just got out of the bath by the way

working on her cutting skills which she is getting quite good at

the final product.  i think it turned out pretty good and it was fun to make and a tradition we will do every year and let Paisley make one when she is old enough to understand.

Comfortable?!

I went in to check on Adey one night a few weeks ago (I know it has been tough finding time to catch up on my blogging but here I am and I would say better late then never) and this is how I found her...

Whats new with Paisley Poo...

From grabbing toys to babbling away this lil princess just keeps gettin bigger and bigger.  When others meet her for the first time they are so surprised that she was almost 7 weeks early.  When I too look at her I actually think the very same thing.  What has happened to my teenie tiny baby girl that started her first breaths with tubes and cords to this...?!

This was taken almost 2 weeks ago (10/28/2012)

Halloween treat

so I wanted to do something nice for a few of my friends so i got them all a mountain dew and cut out these ghosts and wrote on the orange sayings "thanks for all you dew" and then "wrapped" a candy bar with a bat theme and attached all in a little pouch.  I hope they liked them!  I will do this more often around the holidays.  it was quite fun to make.

Halloween Part 4

sorry with having two little ones and my puppies I have found very little time to myself which is more then fine because i would rather make memories to cherish and blog later.  But anyway here is another activity Adey and I did from our Halloween chain I mentioned in an earlier post that can be viewed here ( http://fullmerfam06.blogspot.com/2012/10/halloween.html )

we made "candy corn" fruit cups using mandarin oranges, pineapple, and homemade whip cream.  They were quite delish if you ask me or even Adey...Halloween doesn't have to be all about junk food just saying..

getting ready to make our night time snack

Adey making the whip cream and adding the first layer which is pineapple

next adding the mandarin oranges and then the last layer which is whip cream

tada...a yummy healthy Halloween treat!

Photography

so i am working on putting together my photography skills to offer and make some extra money...well I was offering to do 2 families for free and here came along my beautiful sidekicks!

aren't they precious?!

Cornbelly's

On Saturday (October 20) Adey, Paisley and I had a girls day.  We first took Daddy to work so he wouldn't have to ride the train especially since he let us have the car that day so we could have some fun outside the house...i know what a good daddy/husband...i think we will keep him.  After we dropped him off we headed to the mall in Murray to go to Build-a-Bear.  I got an email saying that each store bought 100 bears to be stuffed and donated to Toys for Tots...so I thought it would be nice for Adey to do this so we did and there was a coupon attached to both bears (we did one from Adey and one from Paisley) so I gave in and we got a little treat after we stuffed the bears first.  Then both Adey and I were hungry and chose to eat at Subway so venture there for lunch and had a nice mommy/daughter date.  After lunch, I did a little shopping (I am addicted) at the Carters store and children's place for the girls...Paisley was still asleep at this point and Adey was being so good and they were having GREAT sales at each plus Adey needed some tights and another coat and Paisley needed a winter body coat thing....I defiantly succeeded and some.  After the mall we headed down the road quite a ways to Cornbelly's.  We took Adey last year ( http://fullmerfam06.blogspot.com/2011/10/cornbellys.html ) this year I was by myself with two kiddo's and it was a little crazier and busier (which I didn't like).  We had fun and hung out with a few friends at times (Steph, Carter, Lou Lou, Chris, Felicity, Courtney, Jennica, Kaley, and a few of their family members).  It was hard to do everything together because all wanted to do their own things and I couldn't do everything they wanted because of Paisley plus Adey had more fun playing on the wooden stuff.  She also played on the firetruck, bouncy houses, princess section, play ground, hay pyramid, spider web, and a kiddy ride.  I let her get her face painted which she loved but want to have it taken off as soon as we got home.  It was a fun...not sure if we will continue to go back in the years to come as it is getting pricer, busier, and not as much fun but we shall see.  Adey had a great time and that is really all that matter:

Halloween part 2 and 3

so i mentioned Adey and I made a chain ( http://fullmerfam06.blogspot.com/2012/10/halloween.html ). Well our project on Monday night was to paint a pumpkin and we even had a pumpkin for Paisley to paint (they are the ones we got from wheeler farms).

adey even painted Paisley foot so we could print her foot print on the project

Today (Tuesday) was to make a spider...we traced her hands and then glued them together overlapping the thumbs.  then she put sticker google eyes on it and wanted to paint it with glitter..turned out quite cute and she had a great time!
